The Blackhat Experiment

One of the cool things about being on Google's Bitch List is you get to do some cool experiments without worry since you can no longer be penalized.

Find SEO Workshops in your area.

This little experiment is a 3 year old exploit where link text is passed through a URL into the web server application and rendered.

Let's see how it does? That's a throw-away domain and currently ranks about #3 or so for 'seo workshops'. Let's see if it improves or perhaps even gets delisted since this is a rookie-level and widely known exploit.

UPDATE: 6/26/09
After several weeks, the site was indexed and cached by the 3 major search engines and caught the eye of one search engine in particular. They called my exploit, "A HACK."

So, I am going to NOFOLLOW that link now. You can see that while the link renders on the target, no improvement in rank of even indexing of the link will happen.

While you may read that this is an effective exploit, it isn't. It's a rookie-level faux exploit. While the link renders on the target, it's just a rendering and not an actual qualified backlink.
